| I climbed Medicine Bow with my friends Jaime & Oscar, then I split with them and climbed Sugarloaf from the Lewis Lake/Lakes Trail Junction. There was a little scrambling on mirror-smooth quartzite, but I reached the top faster than I expected. I descended the southwest ridge, and met up with Jaime and Oscar at Mirror Lake, then we headed back to Lake Marie trailhead. | |

| A great addition to the summit of Medicine Bow Peak. This leg of the journey was fairly quick, but well worth it. A must-do for anyone day-hiking Medicine Bow Peak or camping in the area. | |
