| For me, being relatively new to scrambling/climbing, this was an awesome scramble with extremely rewarding views and enough of a challenge to make me want to do more!
The weather was gorgeous, although rather windy on the ridge and especially at the crux on the traverse across to the true summit. There was no one else on the mountain--but this could have something to do with it being a weekday=)
The scramble up to the summit ridge was great and I was thankful for my childhood rock-climbing experiences and training. From the summit there are exceptional views of Mount Kidd, Mount Bogart, The Fortress, Mount Lawson and Inflexible, Fisher Peak, and many more. I sure wished I had taken a camera up with me!! Round trip we (Frederic and I) made it in just under 7 hours, with 1/2 hour spent on the summit.
