| This was the first peak on a two-day, three-peak blitz of the Santa Barbara Divide. I hiked up the West Fork of Santa Barbara, climbed this one, traversed to "Barbara Peak", or Point 12,515, camped at the lake just east of "Barbara Peak." The next day I regained the Divide, continued over "Santa Barbara Peak", or Point 12,660, and hiked out via the East Fork trail. This was long! 30 miles in about 27 hours. | |

| Nice summit climb from a high camp below Chimayosos and Pt. 12,515. Climbed North Truchas afterwards. Lots of elk. | |
