| Hiked to Albert Moutain on a really nice, sunny late June day. The weather was even cool, with temperatures in the mid-60s. I did not have to deal with any of the notorious thunderstorms that are legendary along this part of the Appalachian Trail.
The views were pretty good, if somewhat hazy, with limited visibility. Mainly from pollen and rising moisture, I think, but also from smog drifting in from either the Atlanta area or the Ohio Valley. |
