| I've driven up to this summit several times, when visiting my late uncles cabin in Island Park. I remember hearing woodpeckers outside the car on most of the drive. Fascinating area with great views. | |

| I went on a snowmobiling trip to this area with my Dad and Grandpa and we went to the top of Sawtell Peak if I remember correctly. The view was great and I remember it being very cold. | |

| Drove up, road quite washboardy The guy at the USGS who approves benchmark names must not speak Tagalog From the azimuth mark behind the station it appeared the N ridge might be higher but the USGS map disagrees. Comments from anyone who's been there? | ||

| Colder than heck up there. Went up for my Field Biology class as an outing to an alpine area. I knew all the scientific names back then. Returned to watch the sun rise over Yellowstone, but the summit was in the clouds for most of the morning. | |
