| Nice Loop From Little Basin up trail by really cool footbridge (originally built w/ no metal, only pegs). Loop down fireroads to Scott Creek and up Tanbark trail to Buzzard's Roost and Pine Mtn. Then loop through Big Basin SP back around to tanBark trail to Little Basin. Little basin is now owned by Sepirviren's fund. I went through without problems, you can check-in with the caretaker I'm told. | |

| Nice quick climb to fantastic views. It'd be a lot better without the dilapidated fire tower marring the wilderness, but oh well. Did some fun scrambling too, including to a small cavernously-weathered cave on the west face. | |

| Climbed with my dad, David, and his dad. The whole hike took us about two and a half hours. Even though it's really hot this time of the year the shady trail kept us cool. This was a great hike and I'd definitley do it again. | |
