| Did this beautiful traverse in 2004 and it remains one of my favourites. Returned the same way through Tyrwhitt due to a thunderstorm/hail that made me decide to take the safest route back, was a total rush! A mountain goat shared the Pocaterra summit with me for a few seconds which was very cool. Was surprised at the unpopularity of the peak judging by the nearly empty summit register! | |

| I did this traverse of two summits in 6 hours return, it is more of an 8-10 hr day according to the published notes. Great high alpine as is always the case at Highwood Pass. Of course doing this in September was a bonus to me because of the Larches. I recommend this one. Good look at the backside of Joffre. Cheers! | |
