I enjoyed this as our "rest day" peak. This was a more interesting mountain than I expected. I enjoyed the constant views from the ridge. We even got a few snow flakes! Fall was definitely in the air today. Partner: Deb.

Climbed from the first hairpin in the Mosquito Pass road. Lots of snow still lingering. I enjoyed the ridge and the views wee surprisingly good. Had a mild day, steady breeze, occasional snow flurries. Good get-in-shape peak. We hope to do Pennsylvania next week by a new route.

Haliku3 Peak Traverse  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Nov 4, 2006

Climbed with Chicagotransplant who I met on Rainier this past summer. While it was a 60 degree day in Denver we had wind, snow and at times whiteout conditions--a perfect November day! It is a straight forward ridge climb with a few false summits to tease or torment you along the way.

Climbed with Haliku as part of a Treasurevault-Mosquito-London combination. Went up the west ridge which was pretty well windswept except for a few minor patches. Several false summits kept teasing us along the way! Mostly overcast with some snow showers today but the sun came out a couple of times to show us what we had climbed.

Climbed this peak with Colonelpyat. Bought new boots and paid for it all day. A painful day indeed on a nice Mosquito Mountain. Did Treasurevault and Mosquito as well.

London was and excellent finish to a great morning outing. I thought It's false summits would go on for ever. I climbed it along with several other peaks in the area.

Started from the 2wd TH, at 7am, and climbed the south slopes of Tweto to it's summit. From there over to Treasurevault on to Mosquito and UN 13,548. From there I descended its east ridge and then up London's West Ridge.

Great high ridge walk on a beautiful bluebird fall day.

Finally got to the car at 11:30 am.

Did this one as part of a loop hike that started with Treasurvault and Mosquito. A good showing of ptarmigans in the basin just north of the peak.
