| What a sweet area--the Rangers are nazis about staying in the "designated areas," though, but we found ways to enjoy some climbing, nevertheless. It's a super-sweet place to chill out on a sunny Colorado day. | |

| The rocks here are awesome. I live in Idaho, and it is really great that Colorado Springs has a park this amazing right on the fringes of the city. One of my favorite day hike, scramble, climbing (etc.) destinations; an absolutely great place. | |

| Fun Climbing, don't think I have ever had so many people watch me climb. I got quite the round of applause after clipping the bolts on one of the climbs, but I don't remember which one. | |

| I have been resisting signing this summit log since I have not summited any of the technical routes. However, I have hiked most of the trails. Also, my kids will not let me show out of town friends Colorado Springs without a trip to Balance Rock. Supposedly some moron tried to pull it over years ago with a pickup truck and a chain, but the rock stood tall! | |

| I have done most of the trails in the park and have done some of the easier scrambles. I have stayed on trail since I watched a program on the local access channel over a year ago showing the extent of the damage caused by off-trail hiking/scrambling by over 1 million visitors each year. I would love to do some of the more technical routes but currently lack the skills. Maybe someday! | |

| On my first trip west of Pennsylvania we stopped in Colorado Springs to visit a friend and were introduced to this place. We bagged a couple of the formations via class3-4 routes. It was snowing lightly and clouds rolled in and out that day, just beautiful. | |

| I've climbed here several times and have really enjoyed it. My favorite route in the entire park is the West Ridge of Montezumas Tower. Anytime we are down climbing in the South Platte area, we make a quick trip to climb this route. | |
