| This was definately a cool climb, but I have to admit I was just slightly let down after all the hype I've heard about it. The approach is grueling, but the area has a cool feel to it - we saw nobody in the six days we were there. The exposure on the climb was consistently significant and kept me on my toes. I don't however agree with Roach's comment about it being the best route in his 13er book - Vestal's Wham ridge comes to mind immediately, probably a few others as well. Regardless, a very worthwhile and memorable climb. |
