| Climbed with Rocío from Laguna Negra. Excellent weather, just not too warm, and not so much people. The area is very recommended for tour-ski excursions or snowshoes walks in winter. We descended passing by Laguna Helada. Very nice place to observe the signs of old glacier formations. | |

| Isabel, Nani, Laura, Peña, Dacio, Nadie and me started the climb at Laguna Negra, where we have had lunch. Passed Chorrera (cascada) and reached the flat area over it. Then Isabel and Nani decided to descend and join Juan Pedro, Pilar, Gonzalo (1 year-old) and Marta, who were on the meadows around Laguna (mountain lake) Negra. We continued ascending and reached the col to the right of the Point 2013 m. Once passed Laguna Larga, on the shoulder to the E of Portillo Arenoso, Laura decided to stop and waiting us. We continued and I climbed the NE subsidiary summit firstly, then I met my mates again, on the top of Urbión. Peña descended quickly to run across Laura, who is his wife. Dacio, Nadie and me met them again, on the E shoulder of Portillo Arenoso and descended on the same trail to Laguna Negra, where we encountered our friends. Then we all returned back to the parking passing Refugio de Pescadores. | |

| Made it up together with Rafa Bartolome, and therefore he has just said all about it... If anything, I would recommend to come down via Mojón Alto. A nice round trip around the place | |

| great sunny day with a lot of snow still in the mountains. In my first visit to this area I was happy for the natural place but the route is easy (not tecnical exciting). The Laguna Negra with snow is really a beautiful place. | |
