| September 19 2009 I was invited to help out with the scouts (boy and girls came) for a campout and a climb of Bears Ears in the Elkhead Mountains. I also took my seven year old son Kessler. We camped at the base of the mountain and left very early in the morning (relatively warm at 36F) in order to reach the peak by sunrise. The first ones to the top (of which we were) got there too early and had to wait a long time in the dark for sunrise! After the entire group was on the peak, we watched the sunrise and split up and climbed down the mountain. It was a nice trip and the weather was good. July 30 2005 Climbed with my wife Kimberly, Kessler-my 3-year old son, and Shaylee-my one year old daughter. | |
