| we made the round trip in the other direction - ascent on the west ridge and descent to the east. Fine hiking in unspoiled landscape, though weather wasn't the best. We finished the day with a tourist's visit at Linderhof castle of Ludwig II. | |

| from Ammerwaldhuette over Roggenbachtal and east ridge to the peak. Descent on west ridge into the saddle between Kraehe and Hochblasse. Via Schuetzensteig back to Planseeroad and Ammerwaldhuette. | |
