Trail was pretty thrashed - and by that I mean tons of debris to deal with (wear long pants). Gobs of mosquitos, too, within the forested bit. Views of Jefferson at the top totally worth it.

With my son. A nice hike with good views of Jefferson and 3FJ. Hour and a half up and down with 10 min on the summit. Great start to a multi-summit day. The road from hwy 22 to the TH is a great drive. Recommended.

Did this one after Coffin, still some snow and I lost the trail and went up the wrong side of the summit. Great views of nearby Cascades. Descended the correct way.

Wonder of wonders, my wife accompanied me on this one, and even claimed to have a good time. The flowers were beautiful, and the bear grass was almost as tall as her. We had a perfect day, and the views up there are magnificent. This was my 50th Oregon 2000-foot prominence peak.

Under threatening skies, I made the quick hike up to the summit of this nice little peak. As Brian's pictures show, this is quite the viewpoint for Mt. Jefferson but as is often the case in the northwest, the weather was iffy so I missed the view.

Hiked up this one after doing Coffin Mountain in the morning. Great trail, thoroughly enjoyed this one after the overgrown weediness of Coffin. Amazing unique views of Jefferson in the snag area. Hiked along the ridge on the way back through thick manzanita bushes to get some pics of Coffin and paid the price in cuts and scrapes on my legs. Great fun one.
