toddschwarzAugust snowfall  Sucess!

The narrow glaciated valley between Hyndman and Duncan is a lesson in alpine geography. A blustery summit blew us all the way back down to the location of present day Pioneer yurt, the place I call Dry Lake.

IdahoKidRoute Climbed: Wildhorse Ramp Date Climbed: September 4th/05  Sucess!

This is a long day but well worth it. The valley in between Duncan Ridge and Hyndman is incredible.

The Wildhorse Fire was just starting up for the day as I crested the ridgeline. It was incredible to watch the helicopters take water from lakes below me and go drop it on the fire a 1/2 mile away. Not something you see everyday.
