shknbkeFrom Mosquito  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Dec 12, 2009

This little bump is a piece of cake in summer, but it was a different story in stiff winds! Combined it with London, Repeater, and Mosquito.

Wow, it sure felt like winter this day. The winds were cold, but amazingly we did not get snowed on. Autumn colors all around. This was the last peak of the day. Partners: Deb & Eric.

Date Climbed: Jul 12, 2008

Climbed on a gorgeous but hazy (Cali fires) day from Mosquito Peak with the Usual Suspects. Got in some practice on snow climbing skills. Of course we were the only ones on the mountain. Direct route, lots of fun, good glissades. Left my water bottle nearby Clooney Lake. Some lucky person probably found it.

Hit on the way from Arkansas-Tweto and on the way to Mosquito. With Eric H and Ben. One of them howlin' wind, stinging snow, frostbite and sunburn days.

Haliku3 Peak Traverse  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Nov 4, 2006

Climbed with Chicagotransplant who I met on Rainier this past summer. While it was a 60 degree day in Denver we had wind, snow and at times whiteout conditions--a perfect November day! Can't always count on sunny blue skies.

chicagotransplant3 peak traverse  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Nov 4, 2006

Climbed with Haliku as part of a Treasurevault-Mosquito-London combination. Was able to drive to about 11,500 on the road still, not too much snow but definitely bring gaitors as there is a good deal of mid-calf postholing in the basin and even on parts of the ridges. Summits was pretty well socked in with a snow squall so we didn't get any sort of view from this one today.

From Tweto to Mosquito, a rhyming ridge, how cool is that? A nice area with good access.

miztflipRoute Climbed: Tweto/Treasurevault/Mosquito/London Date Climbed: 7 October, 2005  Sucess!

I climbed Treasurevault along with several other peaks in the area.

Started from the 2wd TH, at 7am, and climbed the south slopes of Tweto to it's summit. From there over to Treasurevault on to Mosquito and UN 13,548. From there I descended its east ridge and then up London's West Ridge.

Great high ridge walk on a beautiful bluebird fall day.

Finally got to the car at 11:30 am.

We climbed the SE ridge of Mosquito, continued over Treasurevault and on to Tweto along the ridge to the nort, before descending it's SW slopes for a nice high altitude loop trip.

This one makes for a nice winter hike. It combines well with Mosquito and London Mountain with minimal avy danger. Don't drink the water, too much mining up there!
