| We preferred to bivouac within the glacier du Plaret front moraine, then start early ascending its northern bank to reach the foot of the summit castle, which has to be followed southward in order to reach a gap where one meets the final S ridge. Fine weather & views till 12 AM. Nobody else on that summit that day...! | ||
