| Finally got around to hiking this one as it is so prominent from I-25 on the way to Colorado Springs. I made my way over to Raspberry Mountain as well for good measure. | |

| Nice hike. Didn't go over to Raspberry - too late in the day, too much rotten snow. Didn't find the BM, but found the reference mark. The north ridge past the summit is surprisingly more blocky rugged than appears on the map. | |

| Headed out on an overcast Saturday to complete the hike previously attempted in February (got turned back due to the heavy snow and lack of a good route). A total of two hours up and down with plenty of stops for taking in the surroundings. | |

| Very windy day with waist-deep snow on parts of the trail. And, the trail was very hard to find. My wife and I turned back at 8620'; we were spent from all of the postholing. See my trip report for more information. | |
