CMC hike. We started at the intersection of Longbow Drive and Road 148 at the Pike NF boundary and hiked north to the rock. We saw no one else. The weather was supposed to be crappy, and we did have a few sprinkles after we left the summit, but that was all. Views are great from up there. I'll have to check out Eagle Rock sometime.

Super cool rock. Great bristlecone, too!

I did this in conjunction with Eagle Rock. I used a mountain bike between the two summits which made the hiking more fun because it was mainly scrambling and elevation gain.

Great outing to a relaxed summit with awesome views.

A great add-on to climbs of other LCW peaks.

A nice place for lunch and lounging. An expansive view of South Park and the Tarryall and Kenosha Mountains makes for a nice backdrop.

Nice scramble up the west summit gully with amazing views in all directions! I will definitely return to this well named peak.
