| Took the long way on our last day in the region. A long traverse of the Altipiano, followed by a false start on Cima Manstorna and a final climb of Fradusta. On the way down we lost the trail (due to part of route being broken away south of the Fradusta Glacier. Traversed the Altipiano traillessly following some other people at a large distance who seemed to know what they were doing. Finally reached a trail sparsely marked by little cairns which took us back to Passo Fradusta. Had to hasten across the plateau to catch the last cable car to San Martino. | |
