| Part of a 3 night backpack. Hiked up the north ridge, sought out refuge from lightening in the notch just north of the summit, summited, and climbed down the south ridge to the saddle above snowdrift lake, glissaded down the steep snow chute towards the lake and hiked down the series of valleys towards the continental divide trail. First person in the summit register for this year and only a page and a half in the register from the last 3 years. | |

| We went up the Flattop trail, around Ptarmigan Point, and over the unnamed summit to the east of Snowdrift. The snowy ridge was easy and the view of Murphy Lake on one side and Snowdrift Lake on the other is worth the effort. | |
