| Very green up there as a result of the monsoon storms. Slopes were speckled with orange from the agave stalks. Very impressive view from the summit and very quiet up there. Few cars and ATVs, probably less popular in mid-summer. | |

| I drove up the dirt road to the gate while watching some dark threatening clouds begin to fill the sky. After a quick run to the top and a few minutes admiring the ever-changing sky I headed back to the car and began the drive back to the interstate and eventually the airport in Phoenix. | |

| Had 100-mile views in all directions. I could make out peaks out toward Gila Bend, Tucson, the San Carlos rez and atop the Mogollon Plateau. Amazing. | |

| experienced sun, rain and snow. a very easy walk. most impressive view was a few miles before the summit in the valley to the north. I watched the weather move in with such force it truly was a thing of beauty. | |

| Beautiful fall day. The view from the top is pretty impressive. I wish more people would walk up, at least some of the way, instead of running their vehicles up there. | ||
