| Stayed off the trail because I felt guilty about breaking the law and just meandered up the steep, grassy hills on the East side. Can't believe I grew up in Fremont and never did this until I was 29. Mission/Allison/Monument is nice little jaunt for those who are in to unspectacular peaks. | |

| Enjoyable trip I made with Al Pine. Also made it to the summit of Monument Peak. It was hard to believe the differences in crowds in a mile of distance. Many people turn back at the summit of Mission Peak, yet the hiking is great south of Mission. | |
