bechttAll Three Highpoints  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Feb 19, 2008

Climbed with Bob Burd up the rocky chute before the saddle (DPS Route B) first Tensor, then Spectre, and finally Diatic. The last peak got our hearts pumping (goes Class 4). Descended the SW canyon and back over the saddle, followed by the long walk back to the highway.

danny-boyEpic scramble

Took the 1st canyon on the north side of the massif from the large sandy wash. It was quite a maze back there and we were never sure whether we climbed Spectre! But it was an amazing day.

1000PksRoute Climbed: From CA 62 and 4WD Road Date Climbed: January 29, 1995  Sucess!

Did this before the road closure. Placed a new book, then. Magnificent vistas, one of the best I've seen from a desert peak.

A long approach down a dirt road and washes. It's too bad they don't allow driving on the dirt road anymore because it would be a lot more fun if you could drive in the first 4 miles.
