| First peak during a traverse of four peaks in this neat Lost River area. | |

| Climbed Octoberfest as the first of four peaks bagged during the IdahoSummits fall outing. On the way up we got to watch 3 bull elk cross the 10000’ basin to the southwest. We later followed Wet Creek back to the trailhead where we had great views of the gnarly north side of the peak. | |

| Hiked in knee deep snow to the saddle first and then to the summit. Parts of the ridgeline were wind blown but for the most part it was a slog up. Continued on to Hidden Peak then came down through thigh deep snow through Bear Creek Lake. Overall, a long slog with snow but spectacular scenery. Sean | |
