| Climbed this peak by myself. It was foggy along Highway 199 the whole way there. But after I started making my way towards the mountain via Happy Camp Rd., it cleared up very nicely. I had my snowshoes and crampons, just in case, but when I got there, I didn't need them. There was some snow on the trail but it was only about 4 inches deep so I just post-holed my way up the trail. A very nice view for very little effort. Would definately do it again, and take my wife with me this time. | |
