| Hiked from Anthony Lake on the Elkhorn Crest Trail, then took the easy walk up the north ridge. Descended the west side for a while, but after finding the footing terrible, angled across to the ridge again before dropping down to the trail once out of the rocks. Returned through Crawfish Basin to Anthony. Great day for an approximately 18 mile hike. | |

| I did this as part of a 4-day backpack in the Elkhorns. I had hiked into lost lake the night before and camped over a chilly night. Had a fun scramble up the ridge from south of Lost Lake Saddle. Decent views, but clouds hindered photography. I made the mistake of descending via the south ridge, and then down the loose talus and wasted a bunch of time. Went on to camp at Twin lakes the following night. | |
