
| ...till there weren't no more climbing to do! Had a free day from work to drive out to this unique desert monolith. Wasn't too sure if I was on a 'correct' path, but the breaks in the cliffs always seemed to offer some route when things looked grim. The summit is gorgeous - a flattish garden of teddy-bear cholla. In all, the climbing was sustained low class 3, never too exposed. Had a few cactus run-ins, though. Par for the course. Trip Report, 12/5/2007 |
