| This was my first expedition as an experience. It was fun and good experience. We also had about 30 other hikers along with 7 of us. We took them to Tapowan for their trek and for our acclimatization. It took about 25 some days for a trek and expedition. | |

| The expedition team was divided into two teams. Team 1 comprised of Bobbya, Pintya and Rakya, who summitted the mountain on 25th June 2001, and the second team comprised of Ajya, Martin, Mahadik and myself. We summitted the mountain on the 27th June, 2001. | |
