| Sabrina and I climbed Gourgs Blancs from refuge du Portillon across Port d'Oo,col de Clarabide, pointe Lourde Rocheblave, pointe Armengaud and summit. Way down by south side of col des Gourgs Blancs was extremely dangerous with heavy rockfalls.
During our stay we also climbed 3 peaks of Clarabide (3020 m, West 3012 m, East 3008 m), Gias (3011 m), Saint-Saud (3003 m), Camboué (3043 m), Audoubert (3045 m), Cap and Seuil de la Baque (3097 m, 3103 m)
We had the opportunity to enjoy all sides of these mountains with good weather and nobody around! |
