| Beautiful day on a beautiful ridge. It is quite a jaunt to get this 5,800 foot peak, but nowhere near the effort it takes to do neighbor Big Iron. Anyway, I highly recommend this peak. The long sweeping ridge that takes you there is awesome. I was really impressed by the dramatic drop into what Rob on his page for this mountain calls "the notch." The triangular bump from which you drop into the notch I've heard referred to as "Baby Rattlesnake." Pretty certain I saw Wingding out there, but only based on having seen a sole female coming down the mountain and her log entry for the same date because we've never met.
