Def a classic! Have been wanting to do this one for some time. I will certainly do it again! Anyone who wants some of the best in the East should do this one.

NarendraGreat route  Sucess!

Classic scramble. One of the best in the dacks, but no way its class 5 - class 4 at most. I remember rock steps with jugs and huge foot holds with modest exposure. regardless of the class, its a classic scramble - a must do.

Sam PageSteep scramble  Sucess!

My father took me up this in summer 1998 (maybe?). Though I am the technical rock climber, he felt way more comfortable soloing the crux than I did.

Beautiful day. Had done the slide on the other side of the mountain many times (day, night, winter, summer), but had never done the Dyke. Excellent Route. Descended via Lake Arnold.

jhalmanGreat climb!!  Sucess!

Did this a couple years back with too large a crew (7 of us!). One of the guys was a true novice to hiking in general, and just about had a panic attack on the slab, but minus that worry, this was an excellent climb. The scramble through the gully is exciting, and the slab is fun test of will. I'm looking forward to giving it a go in the winter!
