| Fresh snow hampered progress on the approach to the bergshrund. Wierd/unstable ice conditions past the bergshrund and the serac danger had us a little freaked out until we reached the rock rib. From there, the climbing was fairly sustained but not too hard and we tried to enjoy it even though we were nervous about the amount of time it was taking. Finally reached the summit and didn't make it back to our bivy spot on the glaciar until 10 PM!
