| Drove overnight from Michigan. Arrived at 3AM. Left Pinkham Notch 8AM. Met up with climbers from the Green Mountain Club of Vermont, who allowed me to tag along with them (many, many thanks from me to you guys). Foggy, but extremely warm for March, and absolutely no wind. Had a undercast at around 5500ft. Even though we were still immersed in fog, all members of our group got sunburned on our faces. Summit was cool, but not cold nor windy. Excellent first time winter summit experience. |
