| Really wonderful day alone on the Hintergrat. I started from Solden at 4:30 am, and was on the summit at 12 noon after waiting for some parties. The normal way is quite exciting too. | |

| Hintergrat is a nice scenic route for everybody with some mountaineering experience. Early spring is a good time to go. The Ortler group is a great mountaineering area. Solo climb. | |
