| My 11 year old son and I summitted by this North Route. Directions to the trailhead are spot on. We got started early due to a forecast of thunderstorms in the area, reached the summit by 10 am, not quite 3 hours to summit. The weather held. The trail is a good trail, relatively flat for the first half, including a nice contour-traverse around North Peak to Wolf Pass. From there it is steep ridge walking, with a couple of dicey spots, and slow going in places, but nothing too bad. Views from the top are amazing. We had the whole mountain to ourselves, never saw another soul. |
