| This is a beautiful route to Vaganski vrh summit and recomended from my side. We have started on 12.07. at the Velika Paklenica canyon where we parked our car. Then after 2 hours of hiking we have reached the Paklenica mountain hut, where Struge route begins. This route is not steep it gains altitude slowly and it offers great views on the canyon. From the hut we hiked for another 3-4 hours when we reached Struge refuge, where we stayed over night. Next day continue towards Vaganski vrh summit. This part of the route is also very interesting and you will hike on Velebit ridge, which guarantees great views towards Adriatic sea and its islands. |
