| Not sure about the history of the wreckage, but it sure is eerie. However, I didnt find this route all that great, certainly not classic (possibly 2-3 stars). I think ill go to the west end near Dickers Peck next time. cant beat the trail to the base of the climb or the great views from the summit. | |

| I heard the airplane was from a University of Oaklahoma basketball team that was trying to fly in to play CU. Interesting wreckage. | |
