Reached the summit on three seperate trip's using this approach. Interesting history, geology and Bristlecone Pine's here. Absolutely a must for any peak bagger within Utah and beyond.

Since I spent most of the morning hiking and exploring other nearby areas I didn't arrive at the trailhead until 4:30 p.m. I threw on a camelback and hustled up the trail reaching the summit at 6:00. Spectacular viewscape from the top. The trail was interesting as well with high canyons and a variety of fauna. From the top I saw a storm heading my way and hustled back to the truck by 7:30. I'd like to due the hike again when I have more time to enjoy all that this trail has to offer.
