Did it a few times when Karen and Dennis Caldwell lead it years ago, also in 07 as an approach to the triple traverse.

WasatchvoyageSteep fun hike.  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Jun 10, 1992

Took this route three times, going up to the summit twice in 1990, and 1992. We made camp at about 8800 feet under a huge spruce tree on both trips, and reached the peak the following day. In 1992 we reached Twin Peaks via the Cottonwood Ridge from Alta, and descended Deaf Smith to the same campsite for the night. The following day we made it to the car at the base of the canyon. Fun and invigorating route to take.

mtn runrPig Wallow!  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Apr 12, 2008

Deep, sugary, snow made for slow going on the upper mountain. It took us nearly nine hours to ascend the approximately 6,400 vertical feet from Golden Hills Avenue to the top of the West Twin. I didn't have anything left and refused to go across to the East Twin so my partner, Gristle, reluctantly agreed and we headed back down. 'Twas a beautiful day!
