WasatchvoyageFun route.  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Sep 14, 1993

David and I climbed this and the Pfeifferhorn during an evening hike. Ascended via the west ridge, and down the north side. Great views! This was an after-work climb, and I forgot my hiking boots. I borrowed a pair from Dave, which was a mistake as he wears a size and a half smaller. I lost my big toenail as a result coming down off of White Baldy. Fun route though!

maraudersOne of my favorite mountains
Date Climbed: May 6, 2006

The West Ridge was awesome, coming down the north face was even better. This mountain remains one of my favorites in the Wasatch. It's central location provides outstanding views. There were also thunderstorm clouds that began to build in the late morning, and filter through Dry Creek basin, below White Baldy. The clouds provided a surreal setting that made the climb even better.
The west ridge in winter/spring conditions gets 5 stars in my book. Highly recommended.
