| Enjoyed a great climb of West Spanish Peak up the standard route - beautiful Sept morning but it developed into thunderstorms so we didn't get to enjoy the mountain as long as we would have liked. Climbed with Bill, Aaron and Barb. It was Bill's first 13er and first major mountain - he did great! | |

| This was my first summit back in 2005. I climbed it again via this route w/my brother John, his wife Tanya and my nephew Cory. Perfect weather, left the trail head at 7:30 and was on top by 10:00 am. I never get tired of the Cuchara valley and the SP's wilderness! | |
