We went up on a Monday, got rejected, then saw that some people summitted Wednesday. So Thursday night, me and Scotteech decided to give it a go. Left the car at 3 AM, traversed the tripleness, and hitchhiked from Mill B back up LCC.

WasatchvoyageFull packs don't help...  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Jun 10, 1992

We did this route as part of the Cottonwood Ridge extension, and arrived at this route after camping on the Cottonwood Ridge about .25 miles east of Dromedary. (Rocks everywhere, no flat real estate at all) To pack more of a punch to this route we had full packs on... probably not the smartest idea on this route. After B.F. Twins west summit, west descended down into Deaf Smith Canyon, spent one more night, then hiked out the following day.

oh man. i made it. barely. up broad's fork, up to the saddle, up to twin peaks, then back to the saddle and around the back of sunrise and to the summit. that's where it began to get nasty.
from sunrise to dromedary I had to downclimb some scary nasty cliffs, i was alone which was not smart. then up dromedary, and then off the southern-east side of dromedary i hit some cliff bands again and found myself sketchily downclimbing again. overall took me about 16 hours.

Great day, Grizz's small slide led us to take safer, but definitly much longer and more arduous route around Jepson's Folley. Tons of huge relatively recent wet slides on the way down boads

Date Climbed: May 10, 2008

A big day. Completed the TT with mtnrunr, Joe, Dustin (Apachedino) and some other friends of mtnrunr (Grizz). Grizz took a sketchy slide off the Jepsen's west buttress and was able to self-arrest. Could have been bad.

Moogie737Traditional route up Tanners Gulch and down Broads Fork  Sucess!
Date Climbed: May 6, 2008

What a day! Five started, four finished. Twelve hours of climbing, cramponing, postholing, kick-stepping, sunblock slathering and snowshoeing. Worth every hour. This was my second time doing this route (May 2007 the first) and with the deep snow pack and the warm conditions, this time was more difficult. Thanks to Lana, Dave, Robert & Alex for the tremendous moral support.

seanpeckhamWalt's '08 trip from Tanners Gulch
Date Climbed: May 4, 2008

I broke my sunglasses and dropped my lens cap down Tanners Gulch; retrieving that and hacking up a way to keep from frying my eyes put me behind, when I was already one of the slower members of this very strong group, so I opted to skip Dromedary after getting above the cliff onto the ridge. So for me it was a Double Traverse. After that I made it to the west Twin and down. My first taste of "real" mountaineering, I bit off almost more than I could chew, but it was very rewarding.

First major hike in the Wasatch. My goal was to just do Twin Peaks but I tagged along with two hikers I met on the trail (Mark and John) and made it over Sunrise and Dromedary. Hot but and awesome day.

Justin ("Gutloaf") & I had a successful day. We went up to Robinson ridge from the meadow in Broads Fork. From there it was up to the Twins, down to the saddle, up to unnamed and then Sunrise and so on. We chose to head down to Lake Blanche and we got bogged down and cliffed out as we headed North East instead of East toward the lakes. We descended a minor ridge extending from the lower slopes of Dromedary and made our way through the cliffs.

Getting up there was easy, getting down another story. I ascended with Asher (Matt) via the Robinson Variation and we dropped down into the Lake Blanche drainage.

I have climbed all of the peaks on the Triple Traverse seperately. Now I have done the traverse in both directions. Great day of ridge scrambling over all of these mountains.

Triple Traverse is a misnomer. I counted seven summits as follows: Dromedary, Sunrise, Un-named West of Dromedary, Un-named West of Un-named, East Twin, West Twin, East Twin.
