I found this peak much more difficult than I was expecting. In particular, going over Vagabond Peak on the way to and on the way back was exhausting. Also, one has to be good at hiking on rocks to make this one, as once one leaves the trail, it's nothing but rocks. That said, the summit itself was incredible! The views were perhaps the best I've ever seen (and I've seen quite a few). Also, the difficulty made the sense of accomplishment that much more intense.

Camped at Green Lake with a Sierra Club WTC group, then took the standard route up Cloudripper. My first class 3 peak, an easy introduction. Amazing views, especially of the Palisades.
