| saw a whole herd of them , but they did not kick down rocks on me - nice climb,but expected it to be a bit steeper - continued on to Mc Clellan and scrambled down a gully back to the Steven's Gulch | |

| Ben and I climbed the Goatfinger on a perfect day. It took an hour in the coulior with pretty good conditions for such late season. It reminded us a lot of Holy Cross Coulouir which I had climbed a year ago to the day, and Ben a week later last year. With no goats kicking down rocks at us we got up Edwards, went over to McClellan, and finished our day with a nice nap on the summit of Kelso! | |
