| Made it a little over 12 miles in but had to turn back due to the setting sun-mostly because of time constraints. turned into a 15 hour 25 mile day with no summit. Not a technical trail by any means at all, but simply exhausting because of the round trip distance. | |

| Barr Camp was colder than setting up a tent. At zero degrees with no heat preservation, was a cold cold night on the way up. | |

| Manitou Springs to the summit via the Barr Trail! Not many people on the trail, but tons of people at the summit. Beautiful views of the plains to the east and mountains everywhere else. | |
