| I had planned to go up the North Route, but I could not find the trail. I went further up and found a barely distinct trail that led me to the meadows under Carbonite Pass. Then it was a very nice scramble up and across the ridge to the main summit, and down the North Route. Now I know where to look for the trail. Along the way I saw two moose, a mountain goat and her kid, and a mountain chicken (grouse). | |
