| Center Basin is amazingly beautiful. Took the easy way up the east face. Fun summit block and great views! Then crossed Center Basin again to climb the main objective of the day, Mt. Bradley. | |

| Mountain Impulse | Center Peak via East Face Date Climbed: July 22, 2002 | |
| The trek from Onion Valley Traihead over University Pass was a workout. We camped about a half mile from Golden Bear Lake. The next day, we first summitted Mt. Bradley and then Center Peak. The 4th Class summit block is fun. | |
