| It was a heavy snow year, we did it in late June of 95, set off a nasty wet avalanche just after we started descending to the east, went off the cliffs on the north side, ran about a mile with 1200 of fall. | |

| Went up the east saddle of Bighorn from Bells, hit the Bighorn summit, and did the great scramble down to the west saddle. The late May snow pack added some zest. Went on to Lone Peak, then back down to the west saddle, and descended the head wall back down into Bell Canyon. This traverse is fantastic, highly recommended for those comfortable with exposure. | |

| Did this in reverese, Bighorn to Lone, great routefinding, it is easy to get onto low class 5 if your not careful about that. Fabulous gendarmes and a fun, but relatively short scramble. | |
