| In the spring of 04, I hiked to to the top of Rattlesnake canyon and descended by traversing the ridge, before descending the boulder field. It is the only hike where my triceps were sore afterwards.
In November of 04, I was in Joshua Tree after a large snow storm. We went up partway up Rattlesnake Canyon to get to Corral Wall & climb. There was a rip-roaring river in the canyon. When we were leaving, I walked in the river because it was betting too dark to see the best path through the boulders. I got wet up to my knees!
I was there the next spring, in 2005. There was still some water left, running into the sand at the beginning of the wash. I could hear frogs croaking! |
